Reality TV romance season may not be officially scheduled, but someone forgot to tell Kyle Cooke and Meghan King.

On Thursday, April 16, the Summer House star was spotted locking lips with The Real Housewives of Orange County alum Meghan King during a night out in New York City, according to footage obtained by Page Six. In the clip, Cooke, 43, is seen kissing King, 41, outside an event held at Temple Bar for “A Love Letter to 90s New York,” hosted by Page Six and Nine West.

Yes, it was very much a public display of affection. No, they didn’t seem particularly interested in hiding it.

The moment also marks Cooke’s first publicly visible romance since confirming his split from wife Amanda Batula in January after four years of marriage. At the time, the couple emphasized that things ended on mutual terms.

“We share this with a heavy heart and kindly ask for your grace and support while we focus on our personal growth and healing,” the statement said.

The kiss also lands just weeks after Batula, 43, made headlines for her own new relationship with their Summer House costar West Wilson—because of course this is all happening inside the same Bravo ecosystem.

Meanwhile, King’s romantic history has also been keeping her in the tabloids. She was previously married to former MLB player Jim Edmonds, with whom she shares three children. The pair split in 2019 and finalized their divorce in 2021.

She later had a brief marriage to Cuffe Biden Owens, nephew of President Joe Biden, in 2021. That union was annulled the following year after what was described as a “whirlwind” relationship.

More recently, King’s personal life has included custody changes involving her children—Aspen, Hart, and Hayes—who are currently living with Edmonds and his wife in Tennessee, while she sees them for extended periods during the summer. King had allegedly given one of the children an ADHD medication they were not prescribed, which led to a Child Protective Services investigation.

Back in 2022, King made it clear she was rethinking how much of her love life belongs online, telling The Tamron Hall Show:

“I’m done putting relationships on social media” she said. “I don’t want to be defined by them,” she said. “You Google my name and you see all these relationships — I’m done with that. I think, most of the time when I date, my life intimidates people.”

Still, if Thursday night is any indication, privacy may be the plan—but Bravo-adjacent PDA is doing its own thing anyway.
