‘Hoppers’ is now streaming — How to watch the Disney and Pixar movie at home

The fourth-highest grossing film of the year so far is making its way to home streaming.

Disney and Pixar’s “Hoppers,” which debuted in theaters on March 6, is now available to watch on-demand from VOD platforms including Prime Video.

“Hoppers” follows 19-year-old Mabel (Piper Curda), a college student with a deep appreciation for nature thanks to her time spent in a forest glade with her beloved grandmother. When the glade is scheduled to be demolished to make way for a new highway, Mabel is able to transfers her mind into a lifelike robotic beaver to communicate with animals and rally them to help save their habitat.

In his three-star review of “Hoppers,” The Post’s entertainment critic Johnny Oleksinski wrote, “What separates “Hoppers” from the pack of recent Pix flix, which have been wholesome as a church bake sale, is its comic irreverence,” noting that director Daniel Chong and screenwriter Jesse Andrews’ script is “terribly funny, and often in an unfamiliar, warped way for the cerebral and mushy studio.”

“Hoppers” is streaming on-demand on platforms like Prime Video now! The “Hoppers” digital release date is today, April 28.

How to watch ‘Hoppers’ on Prime Video

“Hoppers” is available for digital purchase on Prime Video. The film costs $29.99 to buy or $24.99 to rent.

While you won’t have to be a paid Amazon Prime member to buy “Hoppers,” you will need at least a free Amazon account; that way, you can return to watch “Hoppers” whenever you want to.

If you choose the rental option, you’ll have 30 days to begin watching the movie and 48 hours of access once you’ve pressed play.

‘Hoppers’ DVD, Blu-ray and 4K release date

While you can stream “Hoppers” at home now, some may prefer a physical alternative to owning movies digitally, because there’s always the chance that rights may be revoked and you’ll lose that digital access.

Physical discs are tangible proof that, as long as you have a player to play them, you’ll be able to watch the movies you own.

Disney has confirmed a June 2 release date for 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD copies of “Hoppers,” but a preorder is not live yet.
