Nearly three years after a heartbreaking Season 2 finale, Good Omens is coming to an end.
Good Omens Season 3 premieres tomorrow, May 13, on Prime Video.
The new season will consist of just one super-sized 90 minute episode to wrap up the tale of Crowley and Aziraphale, rather than a six-episode run like the first two seasons had. Season 3 was shortened following multiple allegations of sexual assault against its creator and showrunner Neil Gaiman. Gaiman left the series and production continued without him.
Based on the novel of the same name, Good Omens initially follows angel Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) and demon Crowley (David Tennant), longtime acquaintances both living on Earth, as they team up to prevent the coming of the Antichrist and the end of the pleasant existence they enjoy together.
In the series finale, Aziraphale and Crowley must confront their relationship, heal old wounds and rediscover their bond as the Second Coming, which Aziraphale ascended to Heaven to oversee, take a surprising yet dangerous turn.

How Did Good Omens Season 2 End?
Season 2 of Good Omens ends as the Metatron offers Aziraphale the position of Supreme Archangel, while giving Crowly a chance to restore his angelic status so they can lead Heaven together. While Aziraphale views this as an opportunity to finally make a difference, a disillusioned Crowley refuses to return to a system he finds toxic, instead proposing they run away together like Gabriel and Beelzebub.
This fundamental disagreement culminates in a desperate, grief-stricken kiss from Crowley, as he tells Aziraphale, “we could’ve been… us.” Ultimately, the pair parts ways: Aziraphale ascends to Heaven, while a shattered Crowley drives off into the night.
