This ferry crew could be in hot water.

Two German tourists were seen in a viral video appearing to steer the Staten Island ferry through New York Harbor, sparking a city investigation and threats of punishment, a report said.

The two women were first seen chugging what appeared to be White Claws at Whitehall Terminal before being guided past secure areas and up to the restricted bridge of the Dorothy Day — where one of them apparently moved a joystick at the ship’s helm, according to the clip and a report in SI Live.

“I’m driving the boat! I’m driving the boat! I’m driving the ferry!” the woman at the helm shouted in English while what appeared to be a crew member gave her steering instructions, saying, “to the middle, to the middle.”

Another clip shows one woman lounging in a worker’s chair with the caption, “He’s not texting me back, but at least I rode the Staten Island Ferry today.”

It’s unclear if the woman was steering the ferry in a meaningful capacity, or if it was staged.

Nevertheless, the city Department of Transportation said it would probe the incident — and punish anyone found responsible.

“This behavior is against our policies and completely unacceptable. We will be taking appropriate disciplinary actions against those responsible,” DOT told SI Live.

DOT did not respond to the Post’s request for comment.

Outraged commuters called the stunt a “severe breach of maritime safety and public trust,” according to the paper.
