The Jets are adding a veteran kicker to their competition.
The team agreed to a deal with Younghoe Koo on Wednesday, a source confirmed.
Koo, 31, spent seven seasons with the Falcons and was a Pro Bowler in 2020.
He split time last year between Atlanta and the Giants.
He was 6-for-9 on field goal attempts last season.
Koo’s most memorable moment with the Giants was an embarrassing one when he kicked the ground instead of the ball on a field goal attempt against the Patriots.
The Jets are searching for a new kicker after Nick Folk signed with the Falcons in free agency. Koo joins Cade York and Lenny Krieg at the position for the Jets.
