Spurs center Victor Wembanyama isn’t the only member of his family in the spotlight.
His sister Eve Wembanyama, who is a 24-year-old model and basketball player in France, was unveiled as one of Hoops Magazine France’s covers for its latest issue.
In this photoshoot, Eve “reveals herself as much through her attitude as through her game,” the magazine shared in an Instagram post on Tuesday. “Pure elegance — along with the textures, lines, and volumes of the clothing — perfectly reflects her energy.
“Her bold hairstyle, meanwhile, expresses the strong individual she has become.
“She is a player determined to forge her own path, assert her personality, and continue progressing step by step to reach the highest level.”
It seems the photoshoot took place in January, according to a video of the behind of the scenes by Jessy, founder and CEO of Hoops Magazine France and a stylist.
Eve modeled the same hair style, ensemble and accessories for the cover.
The athlete sported a white polo shirt and matching shorts, paired with high socks and ballet flats, in another look.
The photoshoot was basketball-coded and featured a Wilson game ball.
There was a tape on the wooden floor to represent a basketball court as Eve posed in the lines of a free throw box.
She reshared the cover on her Instagram Story with a blushing face emoji and sparkle emojis.
Eve has not been spotted at the 2026 NBA Finals thus far, as Wembanyama and the Spurs try and even the series 2-2 against the Knicks in Game 4 in New York on Wednesday night.
Knicks fans have made the 7-foot-4 Frenchman the latest villain at Madison Square Garden.
“F–k you Wemby” chants were belted out by fans in Game 3, a 115-111 Spurs win on Monday night.
