A bull rider was injured Sunday evening after being trampled by the bull he was on at a rodeo in the Baychester neighborhood of The Bronx, the New York City Police Dept. said.
Video obtained by NBC New York from Osvaldo Sanchez shows the bull rider being hurled off the animal to the dirt. The bull then stomped on the man with its front hooves and dragged him a few feet as other rodeo cowboys worked to distract and get the bull away from the man.
The incident happened at 2701 Bruner Ave., where “Rodeo Tierra Caliente” was being held.
The bullrider was taken to Jacobi Hospital. Their condition has not been released.
