Andy Cohen busted out his star-studded contacts to liven up Watch What Happens Live‘s blizzard taping, surprising fans with a cold call to Sarah Jessica Parker.

Monday night’s (Feb. 23) episode of Watch What Happens Live, which featured singer Willa Ford and Below Deck Down Under star Daisy Kelliher, was filmed amid the blizzard that brought record snowfall to New York City and the surrounding areas.

To spice things up, Cohen asked viewers to vote on which of his famous NYC pals he should call live on the air: Anderson Cooper, Amy Sedaris, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, or Parker. While Cooper won by a landslide, Cohen remembered that he was going to be on a flight and unable to pick up, so he went with the audience’s second choice: our very own Carrie Bradshaw.

After merely one ring, Parker picked up the phone.

“Hey! SJ, we’re on TV,” Cohen said, to which Parker joked, “I’m not in hair and makeup.”

Cohen then asked the actress how she made out with her snow day.

“It was really good. I had to force myself to stay in bed until 5:15 [a.m.] when I finally said, ‘That’s perfectly alright, you can get out of bed now,’” Parker said. “I was sincerely like a kid on Christmas, as it were. I literally could not wait to see what had accumulated overnight.”

Speaking of their shared neighborhood, Parker continued, “It was gorgeous. I have to say, I’ve heard some trees didn’t survive, which is unfortunate, but our trees, like, watching all of the snow build and build, it was literally like handwoven lace. It was so beautiful.”

When Cohen playfully compared Parker to “handwoven lace,” she blushed, “Aw, Andrew. Come on, now,” before wishing him a “great show” and hanging up the phone.

“Wow, she answered,” Cohen said after their call. “I love you.”

Watch What Happens Live airs Sunday through Thursday at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo. New episodes are available to stream the next day on Peacock.
