Babymetal is all grown up.
The kawaii metal J-Pop trio recently announced theyâre striking out on their biggest tour yet that will send them to North America, Latin America, the UK and Europe from June through September.
Theyâll be joined by special guests Halestorm and Violent Vira on all U.S. dates outside of their two festival appearances and one-off gig opening for My Chemical Romance.
And while Suzuka âSu-metalâ Nakamoto, Moa âMoametalâ Kikuchi and Momoko âMomometalâ Okazaki arenât slated to stop in at a New York venue on the run, theyâll get close when they headline at Newarkâs PNC Bank Arts Center on Sept. 9.
If youâd like to see them shred live, tickets are officially available for all of their U.S. dates on April 10.
However, fans Kitsunes and Megitsunes can get ahead of the curve by snagging seats as early as today on secondary market sites like StubHub and Vivid Seats where prices are shockingly affordable.
Based on our findings, we found some inventory going for as low as $72 including fees on StubHub.
All other shows have tickets starting anywhere from $73 to $106 including fees.
Their upcoming outing comes in support of the boundary-pushing groupâs well-received, fifth studio album âMetal Forth,â which hit shelves in August 2025.
According to Set List FM, theyâve been playing songs from the record at concerts on the Australian and Japanese legs of the tour that began last year. Notable tracks to make the cut at live shows include âfrom me to u,â âRATATAâ and âSong 3â along with fan favorites âRoad of Resistance,â âGimme Chocolate!!â and âHeadbangeeeeerrrrr!!!!!â
ââŚit was their presence and synchronicity that was both dazzling and felt genuinely outside the realm of most U.S.-based musical experiences,â Cincy Music wrote in a review of a November 2024 concert of theirs.
ââŚ[they] introduced themselvesâŚwith an actual introduction song, and portions of their choreography that the crowd was keyed into and performing along with them.â

Babymetal new music
On May 11, 2025, Babymetal released their fifth studio album âMETAL FORTH.â
For such a heavy record, the music is surprisingly melodic. Rather than screaming through songs, the gifted vocalists often keep things light (while their collaborators bring the fury!) merging pop and headbanging to create a sound thatâs all their own.
Standouts here include the menacing, half-bubblegum/half-screamo âfrom me to u,â slinky club banger âRATATA,â angry epic âSong 3,â off-kilter yet hypnotic âKxAxWxAxIxIâ and blissed-out rocker âSunset Kiss.â
The real highlight though is the quirky, mosh pit-ready âMETAL!!!â that fuses traditional Japanese wind instruments with unbridled guitar and drums. This is the mash-up the world didnât know it needed.
To find your favorite tracks, you can listen to âMETAL FORTHâ in full here.
PS: Make sure to stick around until the bitter end, too. If you donât, youâll miss out on the jaw-dropping solos in the oddly dance-y finale âWhite Flameâ (that reminds us just a bit of Trans-Siberian Orchestra).
Babymetal special guests
At all U.S. gigs, a pair of impressive opening acts will get the show underway for Babymetal. To make sure youâre familiar with their work, you can find each groupâs most-streamed song on Spotify below.
