Thursday is the final day of men’s individual figure skating events at the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics. While U.S. superstar Ilia Malinin leads the field, he faces plenty of challengers, two in particular

So who will participate in the men’s figure skating final? Skaters’ order is determined by how they did in the short program. Here is the start list, according to the official Olympics site for Milan Cortina. (Also, watch all of the action using the link below. Event starts at 1 p.m.)

These are the men’s figure skating participants today

The men’s singles free skate starts at 1 p.m. ET. Malinin is set to skate last in the field of 24, with his two primary challengers rounding out the final three. Malinin has kept fans waiting to see if he’ll attempt the quadruple axel that earned him his “Quad God” nickname. In the meantime, here’s the order for today:

  • Exhibition Gala: The exhibition gala (a non-medal event) begins at 2 p.m. ET/ 11 a.m. PT

The U.S. has won more Olympic gold medals (17) in figure skating events than any other country, and the most medals overall, with 54 in total. Russia ranks second in total gold medals, with 14.
