Many of us do the standard check for things we should have on us after leaving the house: keys, cellphone, wallet.
But some need to keep better track of other stuff — like their teeth, hair, breast milk, and of course, Donny Osmond group photos.
Those are some of the “unique” things found on Uber’s lost and found list for 2025. Turns out, New York City is the most forgetful city once again, though Newark, New Jersey also ranked high on that list.
While some items may not be particularly surprising to have lost in an Uber — Labubus, Crocs, pickleball paddles, hats, e-cigarettes, flowers — others certainly stood out for their originality. Here are Uber’s 50 strangest things left in Ubers in 2025

There were some interesting trends as well when it comes to when things got lost, according to Uber. July 17 had the most lost items, while Sundays in general were the day of the week with the most lost items, Uber’s report states.
To no one’s shock, days like St. Patrick’s Day, Halloween and New Year’s Eve were once again some of the most forgetful for riders. It’s almost like there’s something that happens on those days where things can slip people’s minds. In terms of time, more things were lost between 9 p.m. – 12 a.m. than any other time slot.
And in honor of it being the tenth year of doing the list, Uber shared the Top 10 list of strangest things to be forgotten inside one of their rideshares:
