It was a “Michael” reunion at Colman Domingo’s pre-Met Gala bash at the Faena in New York City on Saturday.

Domingo’s co-stars Nia Long, who plays Jackson matriarch, Katherine, and critics favorite, Jaafar Jackson, were both on the scene at the “Put That Sh-t On… Again” bash.

A source told us partygoers were congratulating Jackson on his role as his late uncle Michael. They described him as “beautiful and soft spoken. Everyone was telling him how amazing he was,” they said.

Don Julio tequila supplied the cocktails and DJ Lina Bradford provided the tunes.

We’re told Domingo didn’t leave the dance floor. He and “In Bed with Bevy” host Bevy Smith shimmied all night while former “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star, Kandi Burruss watched on.

Filmmaker Steven Spielberg, Lisa Cortes, Gabrielle Union, Heidi Klum, Marc Jacobs, Natasha Lyonne, and Moses Sumney were also spotted partying with Domingo.

The fashionable star gave a toast, telling the crowd, “We’re here tonight to celebrate the arts, in all its forms, and all of you here that can change the world through your art,”

Domingo also challenged the crowd: “Tonight I want you all to meet a new person, because through this community and connection with one and other, you have the power to change the world.”

Faena artist-in-residence Jacob Lusk performed “Bennie & The Jets.” Meanwhile, we hear Smith ended her Met gala weekend co-hosting The People’s Ball in Brooklyn, where modeling industry veteran Bethann Hardison and stylist June Ambrose were honored.
