Ex-NFL offensive lineman Tom Compton’s wife took shots at him for not getting an invite to Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding in a viral TikTok video.

In Tiffany Compton’s video, Tom, a one-time Jet, is carrying out home improvements with the caption “when your husband played for every team in the NFL except the chiefs so we’re hanging roman shades instead [of] going to a wedding,” over it.

It also featured sad violin music.

TikTok users joined in on the joke in the comments saying things like “so rude of him to not think of your future like that. I’m mad too,” and “I’d be mad at him too. Did he even try to get on the Chiefs?”

Tom played in the NFL for 10 years, making stops with Washington, the Falcons, Bears, Minnesota Vikings, Jets, 49ers and Broncos — but never Kelce’s Chiefs.

The offensive lineman was drafted in 2012, sandwiched between Jason Kelce in 2011, and Travis in 2013.

The Swift-Kelce marriage took place at Madison Sqaure Garden on July 3 and saw over 1,000 guests, including some of the biggest stars from Hollywood, the music industry and sports.

A plethora of NFL stars were in attendance, including Baker Mayfield, Cooper Kupp, Kareem Hunt and Matthew Stafford. Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes were also there.

The date of the wedding lined up well for the professional athletes as most teams, including the Chiefs, will start training camp in late July.

Another NFL player not invited, according to the Daily Mail, was longtime Chiefs kicker and Travis’ teammate Harrison Butker.

Butker made headlines in 2024 when he suggested women should prioritize being stay-at-home mothers during a commencement speech at Benedictine College.

Lifelong Jets fan Adam Sandler officiated the wedding, which Chiefs coach Andy Reid said was “crazy,” but “phenomenal” and was done “with a lot of humor.”
