President Donald Trump’s border czar, Tom Homan, threatened a surge of ICE agents to New York City during a live interview on Fox News.

The Trump administration official joined “Fox & Friends” on Monday to share new insight into a supposed plan that would bring “more ICE agents than you’ve ever seen” to the city.

“It’s coming,” Homan said. “I just reviewed an operational plan. I’m not going to tell you exactly when it’s going to happen, but it’s coming.”

Homan said he is making good on a promise to Gov. Kathy Hochul after she passed a plan to bar state and local law enforcement from working with ICE in New York.

When asked about the $70 billion immigration bill in Congress, Homan said the money will be used to life the overtime waiver cap, provide operational support to officers and pay vendors and contractors.

Hochul’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

The mayor of New York City, however, pledged that the city would “fight tooth and nail” on behalf of all people living here.

“We’ve heard threats time and time again from the federal administration. We want to be very clear about the fact that our values, our laws, are not negotiable. We are proud to be a sanctuary city,” Mayor Zohran Mamdani said Tuesday morning.
